BG.legal at the Trade Expo Indonesia
Saturday 19 October 2019, Jos van der Wijst has given a presentation at the Trade Expo Indonesia. Jos was invited to give a presentation about food safety regulation, food product recalls and dispute resolution in food related issues. The meeting was organized to launch the Indonesian Food Safety Institute. The meeting was made possible by the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia. The Director-General of National Export Development of the Ministry of Trade of Indonesia formally launched the Institute.
In his presentation (click here for the slides), Jos elaborated on the new technologies used in the Food branch like blockchain, whole genome sequencing, AI, etc.
During his stay in Jakarta, Jos has tightened the links with the Jakarta law firm Waruwa & Partners. BG.legal works with this law firm for legal issues between Dutch and Indonesian companies.
