The quick scan provides an initial overview. The assessment goes a step further: it offers a comprehensive, substantiated analysis of how relevant EU regulations apply to your specific project or system.

2. AI Act Assessment

Comprehensive analysis of the applicability of the AI Act to your specific AI system or AI project.

Depending on the risk category of an AI system and the role of your organization, the AI Act may impose far-reaching obligations. These include requirements regarding conformity assessment, transparency, data governance, human oversight, and technical documentation.

BG.legal’s AI Act assessment provides a structured and substantiated overview of the extent to which these obligations apply to your AI system and organization, and where the key areas of focus lie.

How does it work?

The assessment consists of a comprehensive questionnaire, specifically tailored to your AI system, organization, or project. You can choose between a self-assessment, where you complete the questionnaire independently, or a guided assessment, where a BG.legal attorney actively guides the process and reviews the questionnaire as you complete it.

Based on the completed questionnaire, you will receive a report for each relevant law containing an analysis of applicability, your organization’s role (e.g., as a provider, user, or importer under the AI Act), identified red flags, and concrete recommendations for next steps. With the guided assessment, the report is also explained during an online discussion with your BG.legal attorney.

Terms and Conditions

The assessment must be paid for in advance. After confirmation of the engagement and receipt of payment, the questionnaire will be made available or the guided assessment will be conducted.

Costs:

Self-assessment: €1,500 – €2,500 

Guided assessment: €2,500 – €5,000
