Corporate Social Responsibility and diversity policy
Sustainability
At BG.legal, we strive for the most sustainable working environment possible. Our offices are located in sustainable buildings, we separate our waste, and we reuse our paper. Through paper reuse and digitization, we have significantly reduced our paper usage.
Our headquarters is BREEAM-NL certified with a score of 'Good'. Heating and cooling of the building is managed with a heat-cold storage system. The office is within walking distance of the central station, allowing our employees to travel to work sustainably. If an employee still needs a car, there is the option to drive electrically. Additionally, sports activities are available through BG.legal, and free fruit is provided every day to keep our employees healthy.
We are located in Eindhoven at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC). BIC is gas-free and is fully supplied with sustainable energy. Where possible, materials used here come from ecological cycles.
The sustainability policy of BG.legal is evaluated annually and updated as necessary.
Social Goals
Our lawyers are actively engaged in society and make a contribution to various social institutions and organizations.
BG.legal has partnered with AANtWERK, an initiative of WSD Boxtel.
The foundation aims to:
- provide a platform for entrepreneurs who aim to operate socially responsibly;
- connect people with barriers to the labor market and companies within the framework of exchanges initiated by the foundation.
Collaboration
The Future
We collaborate with cleaning company De Toekomst that implements sustainable practices. De Toekomst maps waste streams and explores how these can be arranged in a more sustainable manner. By closely working with various social enterprises, De Toekomst creates workplaces for people with barriers to the labor market in the regular employment process.
Cor Unum
BG.legal has a collaboration with Cor Unum, a ceramic workshop in ’s-Hertogenbosch. Cor Unum is supported by many: ambassadors and students, designers and volunteers, individuals with barriers to the labor market, and professionals. Everyone deserves a place here, everyone has a talent, and everyone can contribute to making the world a little better.
Solar Team Eindhoven
Our firm is proud to be the legal partner of Solar Team Eindhoven. This team of students from Eindhoven University of Technology develops sustainable mobility solutions and is currently working on a fully solar-powered ambulance with international appeal.
We provide legal support to the team, including contracts and internal guidelines for structure, governance, and risk management. In this way, we make a practical and future-oriented contribution to innovation, sustainability, and talent development.
MARSAI
From 2025, BG.legal will be involved in the MARSAI project. Within the MARSAI project, BG.legal is working with Noldus, VicarVision, Noterik, and MARIN to develop a system that uses AI to detect high-risk situations related to the mental state of traffic operators.
BG.legal is contributing by providing legal advice on the collection and use of data and on whether the AI system meets the requirements of the AI Act. The ultimate goal of the project is to increase traffic safety in ports.

Diversity Policy
BG.legal aims to reach the greatest talents through diversity policies while responding to developments in the labor market. As an employer, we value quality and diversity. Therefore, we always choose the best candidate, regardless of age, sexual orientation, religion, belief, race, gender, sex, nationality, disability or chronic illness, political beliefs, or marital status. BG.legal believes that a diverse team views situations or problems from various perspectives, which enhances solutions. BG.legal also sees a diverse workforce as a bridge to potentially new customer groups. Our services must fit the client and the growth strategy.
