Magdaleen Jooste is a solicitor and UPC representative who advises clients on intellectual property, commercial contracts, and cross-border legal matters.
As a UPC representative, she is entitled to represent clients before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). She also advises on the protection, commercialization, and enforcement of intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on patents in the mechanical engineering and MedTech sectors.
Magdaleen assists businesses with activities and transactions across multiple jurisdictions, including Europe, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, China, and South Africa. Magdaleen is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Ireland, is an attorney in South Africa, and is registered with the Dutch Bar Association. She is also a registered patent attorney in South Africa.
She holds a degree in Industrial Design from the University of Johannesburg and a law degree from the University of the Free State, South Africa. Through her international practice and experience across different legal systems, she regularly advises clients operating in multiple jurisdictions.
