From this office, the IP/IT/privacy team of BG.legal is active for BIC tenants, providing advice in the areas of innovation, collaboration, IP, contracts, and digitalization regulations (AI Act, Data Act, NIS2).

How does it work?

In the first half hour, Jos will discuss a pre-prepared legal topic. The second half hour is reserved for the questions you bring yourself. This can be in any legal area, from intellectual property, IT law, and privacy to, for example, labor law or corporate law.

Topic September 26, 2026: the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA)

On 11 September, the reporting obligations under the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) will come into effect. From that date onwards, manufacturers of products with digital elements will be required to report actively exploited vulnerabilities and serious security incidents, including those affecting products that are already on the market.

Any organization that develops, imports, or distributes such products must assess whether, and in what capacity, the CRA applies to them. The regulation affects not only IT, but also product design, procurement, and executive management.

During this Legal Clinic, Jos will explain the practical implications of the CRA and answer your questions.
