BG.legal lawyers has had an office at the Brainport Industries Campus for over five years, in pavilion G, second floor. From this office, the IP/IT/privacy team of BG.legal is active for BIC tenants, providing advice in the areas of innovation, collaboration, IP, contracts, and digitalization regulations (AI Act, Data Act, NIS2).

BIC - monthly legal consultation

Jos van der Wijst, lawyer at BG.legal and treasurer of the BIC tenants' association, will start a monthly legal drop-in consultation: the BIC Legal Clinic from Wednesday, August 26th.

When: every fourth Wednesday of the month, 11.00 – 12.00 hours
First edition: Wednesday, August 26th, 11.00 – 12.00 hours
For whom: exclusively for tenants at the BIC
Language: Dutch or English, depending on the registrations

How does it work?

In the first half hour, Jos will discuss a pre-prepared legal topic. The second half hour is reserved for the questions you bring yourself. This can be in any legal area, from intellectual property, IT law, and privacy to, for example, labor law or corporate law.

Topic August 26, 2026: the Cybersecurity Act

On August 15th, the Cybersecurity Act will come into effect. Every organization must assess whether this law applies to it, and if so, the organization must register. The law has an impact at the executive level. During this first Legal Clinic, Jos will explain what this concretely means and answer your questions.
