AI and salary transparency: what should an HR employee know

Lunch meeting for HR professionals at the Brainport Industries Campus

AI and salary transparency are high on the agenda of every modern employer. During this interactive lunch meeting, specialized lawyers from BG.legal will update you on the latest legal developments in both topics.

More and more organizations are using artificial intelligence for recruitment, selection, and personnel policy. At the same time, employees are using tools like ChatGPT themselves. But who is allowed to do what, and how do you properly document that within your organization? And what does the AI Act require from employers?

Additionally, the European directive on salary transparency is coming into effect in 2027. This legislation brings new obligations in terms of openness about compensation, equal opportunities, and reporting—topics that organizations should already be preparing for.

During this compact, private session, you will gain insights into the legal frameworks, practical tips for implementation, and the opportunity to ask questions. In practice, it appears that both AI and salary transparency often seem like a ‘distant issue’ for many HR professionals. However, we have found that this session is a real eye-opener for our clients: it becomes clear that especially regarding salary transparency, it is important to take action now. Even our labor law attorneys were surprised by the extent to which HR itself is actively involved in AI-related issues.

In short: an inspiring meeting to share knowledge and catch up with HR colleagues from other organizations at and around the Brainport Industries Campus.
